During an AquaPath event, on the 2nd of June in the Netherlands, around 40 kids with ages between 12 and 14, have played a AquaPath special game: they had to buy food to prepare a diner for two with “AquaMoney”. The items for sale had their price in litres of water (the water that is required to produce them). It was a big challenge to select the food they wanted most, but with a limited amount of water! The kids learned about the water footprint of food they eat every day and how income influences our personal water footprint. Check out our water footprint calculator if you want to check your personal water footprint!
